Situated on New York City’s Fifth Avenue overlooking Central Park, Taj Hotels’ The Pierre recently underwent a renovation that updated 189 guestrooms and suites as well as the hotel’s public spaces. Now, through a partnership with New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University and Weill Cornell Medical Center plastic surgeon-in-chief Dr. Robert Grant, the hotel houses cosmetic surgery post-op patients.
Guests of the five-star hotel enjoy 24-hour care and privacy, including the services of private escort to and from the room, personal shopping, extra ice, towels and pillows delivered each day, a special menu designed to promote healing via room service, and round-the-clock care from Dr. Grant himself. Spa and salon services in-room, 24/7 masseuse and car services to and from the cosmetic procedure are also available for an additional cost.
Like most good things in life, all of these services are available at an extra cost and start at around $650. Add that to the $600+ per night hotel charge and you’ll find that your recovery time just might be more expensive even than the surgery itself.
